L’Olleria, at 15 minutes away from Finca San Agustín, is a village where the hand-blown glass is a tradition of more than 4 centuries.
Currently, there is only one place where this product is handcrafted: the Abdón Martí family’s factory, La Mediterránea. They learnt this trade over 40 years ago and now they are the second generation of glaziers of the family.
La Mediterranea has been present in more than 60 countries and now it is still producing 100% recycled glass based on avant-garde designs. They have also collaborated with renowned designers and important artists of the glass industry.
